Another first timer for me ,- Emperors x Torrside Tears of the Gorax. This is a cherry and apple wood smoked chocolate imperial Vienna. Sounds crazy right? And it lives up to its billing. It’s heavy smokey, with lots of chocolate and malt coming through. Weighs in at a hefty 12%, if you know the emperor you’ll know that he lives for those double digit abvs. Well worth searching out, in fact pretty much anything by either of these breweries are.
