Was feeling creative last night so decided to dig out the slow cooker. Joint pork loin, lots of Irn Bru, splash of soy and hot sauce. Annoyed and rubbed the pork all over with a rub made from a mix of mustard powder and BBQ spices. 24 hours later – hello Irn Bru pulled pork! Served it up as a dirty fries style dish, homemade wedges topped with cheese, then shoveled the pulled pork over the top of it all. Worth a try if you want to put a Scottish twist on your pulled pork! Buckfast version coming soon.
