Tapas Sunday Afternoons

Mum and littlest went to see Frozen 2 (again!) this afternoon, so I decided to take number one daughter into town for some late lunch. We headed along to Revolucion de Cuba Aberdeen where their tasty tapas was on a two for one offer on a Sunday. Food was lovely, reasonable plate sizes and friendly service. Islay had a Zombie ( minus the rum, of course) which she was delighted with. I stuck to the ginger beer, as I was having a sober Sunday afternoon. Here’s what we had:

Chorizo glazed in a red wine and honey sauce.

Cheeseburger Tacos
Seasoned beef topped with melting Manchego cheese.

Chicken & Melted Cheese Quesadilla
Crisp paprika-brushed tortilla, filled with marinated chicken, onion, mixed peppers and melted cheese.

Halloumi with butternut squash and courgette, in our very own chilli jam glaze.

Roasted Sweet Potato
Sliced sweet potato topped with spinach, peas, sour cream and crispy bacon bits.

Jamón Croquettas
Crispy Iberico ham croquetas served with mixed peppers and garlic aïoli for dipping.
