Took a trip to Glasgow’s premier street food event @bigfeedgla Street Food Social. Probably the biggest street food festival that I’ve been to yet. It was pretty busy, a large warehouse space filled with hungry and thirsty people. Had a wander around before grabbing some food and finding a spot to park ourselves down. The highlight was the truffled venison gnocchi from @stagbitesthehog which we had with a portion of delicious fried halloumi and falafel. Next up took the opportunity to try some vegan food from @vgnstreetfood. The BBQ kebab made with jackfruit was nice but the highlight was the curried fried cauliflower. Local DJs and live performers soundtracked the experience. The girls got balloons made by a talented balloon modeller which made their weekend! After a couple of hours chilling out we headed back across Glasgow, given that my home team Aberdeen were playing Rangers along the road at Ibrox, we thought it best not to hang around until after full time All in all, a great event, well organised, great venue production, nice atmosphere and great food. We shall return.
